The race will start promptly at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2010.
Race Course
Starting near Wentworth and Archer Avenues, the race features a fast course with just one turn at 35th St. Runners will run through the heart of Chinatown and finish back again underneath the Chinatown archway at Cermak Road and Wentworth Avenue.
Youth Run
Kids ages 6 – 11 will also have the opportunity to participate in an organized run after the 5K race. The kids’ quarter mile (age 6-8) and one mile (age 9-11) race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held along Archer Ave., near Chinatown Square. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend to cheer on the runners.
Registration Fee
On or before June 27, registration fee for the Chicago Chinatown 5K Race is $30 and Youth Run is $12. After June 27, the fees are $35 for 5K Run and $15 for Youth Run. Race day registration fee (cash only) – $35 for 5K Run and $15 for Youth Run.

Timing Chip
NEW IN 2010! This year’s 5K run feature the latest in race timing technology, the Chronotrack D-Tag system! Participants must properly attach the D-Tag on his/her shoe and cross the timing mats at start/finish line to receive an official race time. Please see instruction below:
First Aid
A first aid tent will be set up in Chinatown Square for participants. An ambulance will also be on call for emergencies.
Post Race Raffle Drawing
All finishers of the 5K and the Youth Run will automatically be entered into our post race raffle drawing with a grand prize of an Apple iPad and many other fabulous prizes, so don’t miss it!
