5K Race Course: (USATF Certified)
Starting near Wentworth and Archer Avenues, the race features a fast course with just one turn at 35th St.  Runners will run through the heart of Chinatown and finish back again underneath the Chinatown archway at Cermak and Wentworth Avenues.

Packet Pick-Up for Pre-registrants:
Thursday, July 14, 2005 & Friday, July 15, 2005: 10am - 2pm near the stage area in Chinatown Square (2100 S. Archer) and from 5pm - 7pm at 2109-B S. China Place, Chicago, IL., 60616 - also in Chinatown Square. Race day registrants (cash only) and packet pick-up from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Awards:
5K RACE: The fastest overall Male and Female 5K runner will each receive a $300 cash prize.  Second place winners will receive $200 cash prize.  Third place winners will receive $100 cash prize.  All participants who finish the race will qualify to enter into a raffle drawing for prizes.

Age group, Male or Female: (19 & under), (20-24),(25-29), (30-34), (35-39), (40-44), (45-49), (50-54),(55-59), (60-64), (65 and up).  Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in their respective age category.

YOUTH RUN: The fastest overall youth in the three age categories will each receive a Book/Game Basket - (6 and under), (ages 7-10) & (ages 11-14).
